When will your shop be updated?

We currently don't have a set update schedule, but I try to announce updates on our Instagram account @woolenboon. Please follow there or on Facebook to stay in the loop when we will have in-stock yarn available. Pre-order spots are always announced in advance and left open for one week when available. Make sure to check out our stockist page to see if your LYS is carrying our yarn! 

I was cart jacked during your update. What's up?

Ugh. I am so, so sorry. I am also a frequent victim of cart jacking and I know how frustrating it can be. I am hoping that since moving to our new shop platform, being able to create an account and save your information should make the checkout process go a little smoother for you. Please log into your account prior to the update so that you can move through the checkout process as quickly as possible! If you're not into the fastest fingers thing, I try to open up preorder listings once or twice a month depending on my dye load, and your fingers can be as slow as you want for those! ;) 

When will my in-stock order ship?

We aim to ship all in-stock orders in 2-4 business days.

When will my yarn club ship?

Yarn clubs ship in the 3rd or 4th week of the month. Not gonna lie though, it's usually the 4th. 

When will my pre-order order ship?

Pre-order yarn ships in approximately 4-5 weeks. I know that seems like a long time, but we try to dye these concurrently while dyeing for wholesale orders or in-stock updates. We continue to offer these because we understand people often want to buy for specific projects and a generous timeline allows us to do that! If the pre-order listings are not available on the website, it means we have pulled them down to catch up on current orders. 

Do you accept custom orders?

I'm sorry, we do not! The closest thing we offer to that is preorders for certain kits and colorways, but they are not always open. Keep an eye on IG for information on when preorders are available next. 

My order is wrong? What should I do?

Contact us via the form on our website! We are so sorry but occasionally do we slip up when packing orders but we are always happy to make it right.

Why does my order look different from the photo?

The photo on the listing is an example of the colorway you will receive. I always use the same recipes when replicating colorways, but due to the nature of hand dyeing and the magic of speckles, the appearance of colorways and saturation can vary, even within the same dye batch, or across different bases. This only adds to the beauty and uniqueness of our yarn. We love it this way and hope you do too! :)

Where is your yarn sourced from?

All of our bases are ethically sourced from museling-free farms and Shepherds in South America via our supplier that is based in the United States.
